Delete Your Data

Uprise does not require a separate account. You can permanently erase your local and private iCloud data from inside the app.

Delete everything from Uprise

The in-app reset removes your streak, check-ins, journal entries, relapse history, settings, and synced Uprise records.

  1. Open the Uprise app.
  2. Tap the Settings tab in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Reset All Data.
  4. Tap Delete Everything, then confirm the final warning.

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. It deletes Uprise data stored on your device and requests deletion of the app's records from your private iCloud database.

If you no longer have the app

Reinstall Uprise using the same Apple Account, allow iCloud to restore your data, and then follow the steps above. You can also review and remove third-party app data through your iCloud storage settings.

What gets deleted

The reset permanently removes:

  1. Streak history and start date
  2. All daily check-in entries and urge levels
  3. Journal entries and relapse logs
  4. SOS session notes and trigger entries
  5. Profile preferences, badges, and app settings
  6. Uprise records stored in your private iCloud database

Why deletion cannot be requested by email

We cannot see or access your private iCloud records, so we cannot identify or delete them on your behalf. This privacy boundary is why deletion happens on your own device.
