The real issue

You've tried to quit.
It didn't stick.
That's not weakness.

What you're dealing with isn't a character flaw. Problematic pornography use can become a difficult pattern to control, especially when it is tied to stress, isolation, or habit. Struggling with it does not make you weak.

Change takes time, attention, and consistency. Uprise turns that work into manageable checkpoints, from your first hour to the long-term routines that help you stay on track.

What Uprise is

A recovery app built to help you quit porn for good.

Not a habit tracker. Not a willpower timer. Uprise is built specifically for pornography addiction, with tools for your hardest moments and a structure based on how your brain actually heals.

electric_bolt

9-Phase Streak System

Tracks your progress from your first hour to a full year. Each phase turns a long recovery goal into a manageable next milestone.

SOS When It Hits

Cravings don't wait. Guided breathing and a one-tap emergency contact, built for the exact moment you need it.

insights

Pattern Insights

Discover when and why urges hit hardest. Daily check-ins reveal your patterns so you can see the risk coming before it does.

Built for consistency

Recovery is a process,
not a deadline.

There is no universal recovery timeline. Uprise uses milestones as motivational checkpoints—not medical guarantees—so you can focus on the next manageable step and learn from your own patterns.

1h

Start Small

The opening days can feel demanding for some people. Uprise tracks hours as well as days so progress feels visible from the very beginning.

90d

Think Long Term

A 90-day goal can provide useful structure, but it is not a clinical threshold. Uprise treats it as one meaningful checkpoint in a longer, personal process.

70%

Protect Momentum

The Surge Protector is a motivational feature that preserves part of your displayed progress after a slip. It is not a medical measure of recovery.

The Phases

9 phases. One step at a time.

The phases are motivational checkpoints, not a medical timeline. Everyone's experience is different; the changing orb simply makes long-term progress easier to see.

Day 0 – 3

Ignition

Begin with the next hour. Notice what brings you here, remove easy triggers, and give yourself credit for every deliberate choice.

Day 3 – 7

Foundation

Build a simple foundation: check in daily, identify risky situations, and make your environment support the change you want.

Day 7 – 14

Momentum

One week is worth recognizing. Review what helped, prepare for recurring triggers, and keep your support tools close.

Day 14 – 30

Adaptation

Keep your routine flexible and realistic. A difficult day does not cancel the work that came before it.

Day 30 – 60

Clarity

Use your check-ins to compare patterns over time. Knowing when and why urges appear makes them easier to plan around.

Day 60 – 90

Rewiring

Practice the responses that work for you until they become easier to reach for under pressure.

Day 90 – 180

Liberation

Ninety days is a substantial personal milestone—not a finish line or a clinical threshold. Keep protecting what you have built.

Day 180 – 365

Restoration

Long-term consistency is built through ordinary choices. Keep strengthening routines, relationships, and sources of support.

Day 365+

Integration

One year records remarkable consistency. Carry forward what you learned and remember that asking for support is always allowed.

Support

Common questions.

How do I reset my streak?
Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Reset All Data. This clears your streak and all journal entries and cannot be undone.
My streak isn't counting correctly.
Make sure your device time is set automatically: Settings → General → Date & Time → Set Automatically. A manually set clock can cause miscalculations.
I got a new phone. Can I recover my data?
Yes. If iCloud was enabled on your old device, your streak and journal sync automatically when you sign into the same Apple ID on your new phone. Give it a few minutes.
Does Uprise require a subscription?
No. Uprise is free to download and use, with no subscription required.
Is my data private?
Completely. Your data lives on your device and syncs privately through your own iCloud. We never see it, store it on our servers, or sell it to anyone.
How does the SOS tool work?
The SOS tool offers guided breathing to calm your nervous system, and a one-tap option to contact someone in your support circle. Add your contacts in Settings.
What is the Surge Protector?
After two weeks of progress, a slip can preserve a portion of your displayed streak instead of resetting it to zero. It is a motivational feature designed to acknowledge prior effort, not a clinical measure of brain recovery.
